We have struggled for a long time trying to figure out how to appropriately end our projects with families. We try to do a post project interview and walk through (or around) with all of our homeowners. But, because our projects are short in nature and we serve so many families, we have never done a "closing" or end of the project ceremony.
However, we have finally come up with something to commemorate our experience with homeowners. It is in the form of the plaque below. We have chosen this as an appropriate symbol representing the reason for our service and the hearts and hands involved in what we do. abwk habitat for humanity

Upon project completion, each homeowner served through A Brush with Kindness will receive a plaque either through a brief closing ceremony with volunteers and sponsors or through a staff/volunteer presentation during the closing interview and walk through.
