Special Programming

Our service to current homeowners includes a wide array of projects.  They range in cost from about $500 to $10,000 and even higher.  Much of our work has to do with health and safety issue's.  We also work with seniors to help them age in place.  We work with families who have members who are disabled to make there homes more accessible.  We also serve many families with veterans and assist with home projects that help make their transition from deployment easier.

Another way in which A Brush with Kindness helps families is through DIY (do it yourself) projects.  A suprising number of families have some home maintenance skills or know family and friends with skills.  In this type of programming ABWK comes alongside homeowners with materials and any extra technical skills so families can complete projects on their own.

A Brush with Kindness has a variety of special programming to meet the diverse needs of our community.  We market and provide service through one program so homeowners and neighborhoods can build trust (important with seniors and families taken advantage of) with us.  ABWK uses special programming to promote and serve a variety of home restoration needs in our community.  We are constantly looking for creative and innovative ways to assist families and highlight the need to preserve homeownership.  abwk habitat for humanity
