ABWK Job Descriptions

There are several positions within our ABWK department. The Manager, which runs the day to day operations. The Program Coordinator, which coordinates family services and volunteer scheduling. The Project Supervisor, which is responsible for homeowner interviews, work scope and supervising the onsite work with volunteers along with family partners.

We also have four AmeriCorps that support our Project Supervisors onsite. Once trained our AmeriCorps can lead minor projects. We also have an Family Resource Intern that assists our Program Coordinator with supporting families through the application process. Many of our families need extra support work through the application process because of their vulnerable circumstances.

A Brush with Kindness receives 300 - 400 applications each year and serves an average of 130 families. We have 5 full time staff, four AmeriCorps and one intern to run a successful program of this size. Of course we couldn't serve most of our families without the 3,500 dedicated volunteers that support our staff.

You can see these job descriptions on our program documents page here: http://www.abwk.net/p/program-areas-materials.html. Feel free to adapt or combine the job descriptions for your affiliate based on the size of your program and ability to use current staff.
